“Good planning is always more important than picking investments.”
Yaz has been a Financial Advisor for over 25 years and is proud of each relationship he has the privilege to work with. He is passionate about helping clients reach their goals and plan for their family’s future. The Hassan Oldham Group, now 13 years young, believes family values are the cornerstone of every client relationship. Daily, Yaz advocates, counsels, and plans with clients and their families. He has been named one of the “Top 1200 Financial Advisors” by Barron’s for ten consecutive years.
Yaz attended school at The University of Tennessee before an internship with Courier Printing turned into a job offer. He then worked and finished his degree in Finance at MTSU. His job at Courier made him recognize his love of the client relationship and allowed for real-world experience in taking care of clients, which was great training for getting started in this business. Given the opportunity by J.C. Bradford, Yaz got his start in Financial Services. Yaz loved the business and the study of financial markets, right away he had made a great decision. As a result of his love and commitment to lifelong learning and growth, he completed a three-year course at the Securities Industry Institute® at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 2009. Yaz is a board member of The Community Foundation of Rutherford County, Possibility Place and is a parishioner at St. Rose of Lima. In the past, he has served as Treasurer of United Way of Rutherford and Cannon Counties, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Yaz and his wife, Jennifer, have two Children, Emil, and Hannah, both graduates of Oakland High School. His daughter Hannah received her degree from Belmont University and is currently attending Belmont for her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. His son, Emil, attends Possibility Place, a 501c3 here in Murfreesboro which serves adults with special needs.

“It is no secret that behavioral decisions drive long term financial success. I consistently see the impact of simplifying complex topics through intentional conversations regarding behavioral decisions. These conversations are the cornerstone of the work we do.”
As a second-generation advisor, Justin has been counseling individuals and families with wealth, not-for-profits, and corporate clients for over 20 years. Justin’s primary responsibility is to provide comprehensive advice to clients. He helps clients identify and achieve their most meaningful financial goals.
